Jennifer Lawrence is in Paris for Haute Couture Week and is already taking on the City of Light with famous friends. While attending the Dior Haute Couture show Monday, Jennifer took her front-row seat next to the likes of famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier and fellow actress Leelee Sobieski. Her premier spot near the runway is fitting, since Jennifer is the face of Miss Dior handbags and was later spotted backstage with the brand's designer, Raf Simons. Following the show, Jennifer had a cute run-in with singer Rihanna after they both hit up the same dinner spot. Activists Gather in Texas For a Special Session Rally

Last week, Democratic Texas Senator Wendy Davis made headlines with her 10-hour filibuster to block an anti-abortion bill, and with the legislature reconvening Monday afternoon, thousands of activists made their way to the Texas Capitol to voice their opinions. The bill, which didn't make the midnight deadline on June 25, would ban most abortions after 20 weeks and increase restrictions for abortion clinics and their doctors. Since the deadline was missed the first time, Governor Rick Perry called for a second special session scheduled for today. Hundreds of activists filled the atrium of the Texas Capitol building last week, and thousands have gathered in Austin today. Clad in orange, the pro-choice crowd chanted and cheered when Davis, other politicians, and a handful of celebrities took the mic. Pro-life activists rallied on the other side of the building in blue, and reportedly, the pro-life activists will participate in a larger rally on Tuesday. »

Britney Spears Flaunts Her Wild Heart

Britney Spears stepped out in La today for a shopping trip and showed off her fit figure in black spandex and a "Wild at Heart" tank. Britney squeezed in her casual outing amid much anticipation for the official music video to her new single "Ooh La La." Last month, the singer debuted her track, which is from the Smurfs 2 soundtrack, while on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. She also revealed that her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, make an "adorable" cameo in the video. While no date has been slated for the official music video release of "Ooh La La," the Smurfs 2 soundtrack will hit stores and iTunes on July 31. In the meantime, Britney is building even more anticipation. Pierce Brosnan Loses His Daughter to Ovarian Cancer

Pierce Brosnan's daughter, Charlotte, has passed away from ovarian cancer at the age of 41, People confirms. The actor released a statement today, saying, "On June 28 at 2 p.m. my darling daughter Charlotte Emily passed on to eternal life, having succumbed to ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her husband Alex, her children Isabella and Lucas and her brothers Christopher and Sean. Charlotte fought her cancer with grace and humanity, courage and dignity. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our beautiful dear girl. We pray for her and that the cure for this wretched disease will be close at hand soon. We thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences." Charlotte and her brother Christopher were adopted by Pierce when he married their mother, Australian actress Cassandra Harris, in 1980. More Nelson Mandela Supporters Gather in South Africa

Men, women, and children have gathered in South Africa to show their support for Nelson Mandela, who's currently in critical condition at a hospital in Pretoria. Over the weekend, President Obama and First Lady Michelle met with Mandela's family at the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory in Johannesburg, and Obama later released a statement. "I expressed my hope that Madiba draws peace and comfort from the time that he is spending with loved ones, and also expressed my heartfelt support for the entire family as they work through this difficult time," he said. "I also reaffirmed the profound impact that his legacy has had in building a free South Africa, and in inspiring people around the world - including me.
